Suspect surrenders in Forsyth County stabbing

A stabbing at a Waffle House in Forsyth County led to a manhunt and eventual arrest of one male suspect. It began when the wife of the suspect called the victim to meet at the Waffle House parking lot on Keith Bridge Road. According to Stacie Miller with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, on Friday, October 9, the victim, who is not named, did meet the woman. He was sitting in his car talking with her when the suspect, William Hudson, opened the driverside door and stabbed him. Hudson then fled the scene, leaving authorities searching for him.

The victim was transported to a local hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

On Sunday, October 11, Hudson, age 37 years old of Gainesville, turned himself in. He has since posted an $11,130 bond. He is charged with aggravated assault knife or cutting instrument.
