CARNESVILLE — Jackson Clouatre rushed for 158 yards and a touchdown to lead Habersham Central past Franklin County, 34-19, at Ed Bryant Stadium.
The game was a makeup from the Sept. 13 washout and gave the Raiders some moment going into their region opener next week at home against Lanier.
Habersham Central quarterback Ryte Woodruff finished the night 3-for-10 for 80 yards, including a 60-yard touchdown pass to Taylor to open the game and give the Raiders (3-2) a 7-0 lead.
After Franklin tied the game, Clouatre broke loose on a 15-yard run, lifting Habersham back to the lead after a missed extra point, 13-7.
The Lions tied the game, 13-13, with 7:56 to go in the third, but Habersham answered with two scores, highlighted by a 53-yard interception return for a touchdown by Austin Wood with 48 seconds left in the quarter to go up 27-13.
Woodruff tacked on the Raiders final scored early in the fourth on a 15-yard run to go up 34-13. Franklin's final score came with six minutes left.
