MT. AIRY, Ga. – Habersham Central put up over 500 yards of offense as they beat Apalachee 49-14 Friday night.
The Raiders jumped out to a 28-0 lead midway through the second quarter on the back of a pair of rushing touchdowns from Antonio Cantrell and a pair of passing scores from Paris Wilbanks. After Apalachee scored late in the first half and got a pick-six to start the second half, Habersham Central saw Donnie Warren get two touchdowns, one rushing and one receiving, before Cantrell got his third score of the night on the ground to wrap up the scoring.
Cantrell had 76 yards rushing on 11 touches to go with his three touchdowns, while Wilbanks was 14-for-20 for 227 yards and three touchdowns. Tylon Davis had 113 yards receiving on just three catches and a touchdown.
The Raiders will play host to Jackson County next week in the regular season finale.
