Class 6A No. 7-ranked Habersham Central volleyball team knocked off Lanier and Dacula at Gainesville High School Tuesday night.
The Raiders (24-1, 7-1 Region 8-6A) beat Lanier in straight sets, 25-19, 25-19, and Dacula in straight sets, 25-17, 25-21.
Habersham Central will travel to Cherokee Bluff on Thursday.
West Hall 2, Flowery Branch 0; Blessed Trinity 2, West Hall 0: West Hall split its action on Tuesday night at home, beating Flowery Branch and falling to Blessed Trinity in Region 7-4A play.
Against the Falcons, the Spartans won in straight sets, 25-21, 25-18, and fell to Blessed Trinity, 25-7, 25-19.
Cadie Shirley had 16 kills and 8 digs. Kinsey Wilson had 12 kills and 17 digs. Chloe Radich and Kaitlyn Courson combined for 28 assists.
