OAKWOOD — The West Hall girls volleyball team split a tri-match with Johnson and Lumpkin County on Thursday.
The Lady Spartans (6-6) beat Johnson 25-11, 25-16 but fell to Lumpkin County 25-22, 25-17.
Cadie Shirley had 24 digs, 16 kills, and 4 aces to lead the Lady Spartans. Kinsey Wilson added 13 kills and 16 digs and Cassidy Klekot had 5 kills for West Hall. Chloe Radich and Kaitlyn Courson combined for 33 assists.
West Hall is off for week until traveling to Rabun County next Thursday.
GANIESVILLE GETS ROAD WIN
The Lady Red Elephants went on the road and came away with a 25-17, 25-15, 25-18 sweep of Jefferson Thursday night.
Gainesville (11-2) next will to Dawsonville for a tri-match with Dawson County and Gilmer on Tuesday.
