GAINESVILLE — The Gainesville girls volleyball team continues to roll early sweeping another tri-match, this time at North Hall.
The Lady Red Elephants (4-0) held off North Forsyth in three sets 25-20,18-25, 15-10 and then nipped host North Hall 25-23, 25-20 in straight sets.
Seniors Isabella Appling, Camille Calkins, and Camille Holcomb paced Gainsville with timely offense and defense. Juniors Ansley Turner, Karlea Grace Langford, Lauren Teasley, Kendal Glasper, Lauren Ware and Kassie Coley provided stellar play at the net and on defense.
Sophomores Margaret Embry, Isabella Garrish, and Abigail Linhart along with freshman Savannah Brock provided solid serving and back-row play.
Gainesville will head to North Forsyth on Saturday to compete in the Coal Mountain tournament.

Before falling to Gainesville, the Lady Trojans opened with a 25-21, 25-20 win over NorthForsyth
North Hall (3-3) opened with a 7-0 run in the first set and never trailed in taking the match win.
