GDOT: Traffic signal at Thurmon Tanner and H.F. Reed to go active this week

By AccessWDUN Staff

The new traffic signal at the intersection of Thurmon Tanner Parkway and H.F. Reed Industrial Parkway in Oakwood will go into test mode on Thursday, August 8, according to information released Tuesday by the Georgia Department of Transportation.

Motorists will see the flashing red light and treat it as a four-way stop. The signal will remain in flash or test mode until August 13th, when the green, yellow and red cycle will begin.

GDOT officials said the traffic signal is associated with the new Exit 14 interchange project.
