After a delay of about three weeks, traffic is expected to be shifted on newly-constructed lanes on Lake Lanier Islands Parkway (SR 347) on Monday, July 29.
According to the Georgia Department of Transportation, the traffic shift will begin at Holiday Point Marina and end at Shoreline Drive.
The shift also allows motorists to use the new roundabout at Big Creek Road and New Bethany Road.
The traffic shift had initially been planned for July 2.
