Deputy coroner identifies Habersham man found dead in vehicle

CLARKESVILLE – Albert Richard McFall, 65, of Clarkesville is the man who was found dead off Ben Jones Road north of Clarkesville over the weekend, according to Habersham County Deputy Coroner Kenneth Franklin.

An autopsy on McFall was performed at the Georgia Bureau of Investigation State Crime Lab in Decatur, but no cause of death was determined pending toxicology and further study, Franklin said. The cause and manner of death are pending those results.

The wrecked vehicle sustained only minor damage, but officials said there was no sign of foul play. The Georgia State Patrol investigated the crash.

Identification was made through tests and dental records.

McFall, who worked for Hardman Farm doing construction and farming, died July 6, according to McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home of Cornelia.
