A Hall County couple face charges in a child molestation and cruelty case involving their four children.
Hall County Sheriff's Lt. Scott Ware says a family member contacted the Department of Family and Children Services to report the abuse that occurred from January 2017 through March 2018.
Deputies in White County arrested 44-year old Scott Shelby and booked him into the White County jail where he remains on hold with warrants from Hall County.
Hall County deputies arrested his wife, Rebecca, without incident Thursday.
The four children, between the ages of 10 and 15 years old, are in foster care.
Scott Shelby faces charges for aggravated child molestation, child molestation, and 1st degree child cruelty.
Rebecca Shelby faces four counts of second degree child cruelty.
