Hall Co. Schools announced 2025 tech competition winners

The Hall County School District (HCSD) announced the 2025 Hall County Tech Competition winners on Friday.

There were 12 categories for five different grade groups. 

The Georgia Student Technology Competition (GASTC) is held annually by the Georgia Educational Technology Consortium that showcases “creativity, collaboration, communication, and critical thinking skills.”

All first-place winners will proceed to the state competition, which will be held March 1.

All told, there were 51 winners who are listed below. You can view the top-3 for every category here

  • 3D Modeling — third and fourth grades: Camille Weaver, Mount Vernon Elementary School

  • 3D Modeling — fifth and sixth grades: Connor Campbell, Martin Elementary School

  • 3D Modeling — seventh and eighth grades: Breanna Wilburn and Natalie Sandoval, South Hall Middle School

  • 3D Modeling — 11th and 12th grades: Colin Barnes, Cherokee Bluff High School

 

  • Animation — third and fourth grades: Remy Haydn, Martin Elementary School

  • Animation — fifth and sixth grades: Scarlett Bishop and Anslee Oliphant, Friendship Elementary School

  • Animation — seventh and eighth grades: Hank Clarkson, North Hall Middle School

  • Animation — ninth and 10th grades: Lucas Scott, Cherokee Bluff High School
