The Georgia Department of Transportation is asking motorists on State Route (SR) 316 to be mindful of daytime lane closures on the highway this week.
Starting today and continuing through Monday, April 22, lane closures are planned from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
GDOT information says a single left-hand lane and median will be closed east and westbound between State Route 81 and Harry McCarthy Road. Contractors will install concrete barriers and construct the support structure for a new bridge on SR 316.
