A Sugar Hill man faces charges in a Nov. 10 vehicle crash that killed a 16-year-old girl.

The Suwanee Police Department announced the arrest of Sean David Taylor, 47, Wednesday morning.

"Initial results from the investigation concluded Sean David Taylor may have suffered a medical emergency while operating a 2008 Dodge Dakota on McGinnis Ferry Road," said Lt. Robert Thompson in a press statement. "Further investigation by Suwanee Police detectives determined that due to Taylor’s previous medical history and other recent events he should not have been driving."

The crash, which killed Samarah Masih, happened just after 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 10 on McGinnis Ferry Road near Scales Drive. Masih was sitting still in a private driveway of an apartment complex waiting to exit onto McGinnis Ferry Road when Taylor drove into her vehicle. He also struck several other vehicles prior to hitting Masih, according to police.

Taylor has been charged with felony homicide by vehicle in the 1st degree,  failure to maintain lane, following too closely and reckless driving.
