Buford in Class 5A and Rabun County in Class 2A/A Public moved on to the quarterfinals of the Georgia High School Association girls volleyball playoffs on Saturday. Now, seven more northeast Georgia area teams will try to join them as the second round of the playoffs continue this week.
Buford and Rabun County both played their first and second round series on Saturday. The rest of the area teams played just first round series.
A pair of Area champions in North Hall (Area 7) and Jefferson (Area 8) will be in action on Tuesday.
