When it comes to the Hall County Cross Country Championships, North Hall's boys and girls teams rise to the top.
The Trojan squads swept the team and individual titles last week on the new course at North Hall Community Center.
Caylee Wagner routed the field to post the courses first sub-20 minute girls time with a 19:56 to win the girls championship.
"Caylee is really running for the Lord," Sam Borg said. "She's really just worshipping out there. I love that about Caylee."
"Really awesome out there, such a blessing out there. I like to pray during my whole 5 K just giving thanks for this ability -- my healthy body. The amazing girls I get to race with. That mindset really helps me a lot."
Andrew Jones crossed the line in 16:37.7 to win the boys' title.
"I've had a pretty good season so far," Jones said. "So I had a lot of confidence coming out here."
Borg said Jones is just a professional.
"He's only a junior in high school, but he's a professional," Borg said. "He does all the little things that the professionals do. He goes to bed early. He watches his diet. He goes to all the camps and he's friends with all the elite runners around the country."
