FLOWERY BRANCH — The Flowery Branch girls had four players score in double figures as they took a dominating 78-48 win over Marist Friday in Region 7-4A action at home.
The win was the 100th for the senior class.
Senior Caroline Wysocki poured in 25 points to go with 5 assists and 4 steals to lead the Lady Falcons. Senior Ashley Scott added 18 points and senior Ashley Woodroffe had 15 points and 6 assists. Sophomore Ashlee Locke had a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds and also added 6 blocks.
Flowery Branch (21-3, 11-0 Region 7-4A) jumped on the Lady War Eagles quickly running out to a 17-4 lead. The led 38-17 by halftime.
The Lady Falcons will take a week off before traveling to White County on Feb. 1 to close out the regular season.

Brooke Henricks poured in 18 points to go with 7 rebounds to lead the Lady Wildcats (20-1, 11-0 Region 8-2A) to their 18th straight victory.
Laken Stiles added 17 points and 4 assists and Destiny Deetz had 9 points and 7 rebounds for Rabun County.
Union County dropped to 12-9 overall and 5-6 in region play with the loss.

LUMPKIN COUNTY 53
The Lady Tigers (16-7, 7-3 Region.7-3A) outscored Lumpkin County 17-9 in the fourth quarter to rally for a big Region 7-3A win on the road Friday night.
The big fourth quarter came after the Lady Indians (17-6, 6-5 Region.7-3A) used a 19-9 third quarter to erase a 30-25 Dawson County halftime lead.
Kaylee Sticker poured in 20 points to lead Dawson County. Maddie Anglin added 19 points, Anna Lowe had 8, and Marlie Townley had 4 for the Lady Tigers. Sophia D'Oliveira had 3 points and Mariah Benson scored 2 points for Dawson County.
The win kept the Lady Tigers within a game of Greater Atlanta Christian for first place in the region and the all-important No. 1 seed in the upcoming region tournament.
The loss dropped Lumpkin County into fourth place.
BUFORD 64,

Buford stayed perfect in Region 8-5A with a big win on the road Friday night.
The Lady Wolves (19-2, 8-0 Region 8-5A) lead Clarke Central (9-9, 6-1 Region 8-5A) by 1 1/2 games and the two teams will close out the regular season next week at The Buford Arena.
Blair Wallis had 16 points and Tate Walters 13 to lead Buford Friday night.

FANNIN COUNTY 33
The Lady Vikings (9-14, 3-7 Region 7-3A) snapped a two-game losing streak with a road win over Fannin County (6-16, 3-8 Region 7-3A) which dropped its 10th consecutive game.
East Hall was led by Maggie Griffin with 15 points. Ivey Shadburn added 12 points and Ashante Peoples had 9 for the Lady Vikings.
The Lady Vikings next will play host to GAC on Tuesday.
APALACHEE 66,
GAINESVILLE 49
Apalachee outscored Gainesville 32-21 in the second half to pull away for a Region 8-6A victory Friday night.
It was the first region win of the season for the Lady Wildcats (7-15, 1-6 Region 8-6A) and snapped their eight-game losing streak. It was the second straight loss for Gainesville (11-10, 3-5).
Gainesville trailed just 16-10 after the first quarter and Apalachee led 34-28 at halftime. But Apalachee took control with a 16-8 third-quarter run.
Tia Shelton had 19 points to lead Gainesville. Tija Blackwell added 14 for the Lady Red Elephants.
The Lady Red Elephants next will play host to Winder n Tuesday.
GAC 60,
CHEROKEE BLUFF 29
The Lady Bears were held to just 17 points through three quarters as GAC rolled to a Region 7-3A win.
The victory for the Lady Spartans (12-10, 8-2 Region 7-3A) kept them one game ahead of Dawson County for first place in the region with just two games left in the regular season.
GAC led 18-4 after the first quarter and 34-10 at halftime. The Lady Spartans took a 44-17 lead into the final period.
Kaleigh Addie led GAC with 17 points. Kenndi Williams added 16 for the Lady Spartans.
Madi Phillips had 9 points and Timber Gaither 8 to lead Cherokee Bluff (12-11, 3-7 Region 7-3A).

The Lady Lightning led 8-7 after the first quarter but used a 13-3 second quarter to take control.
Madison Hughes had a big game for LCA with 13 points and 11 rebounds to go with 5 assists and 4 blocks. Faith Wasden added 17 points and 5 rebounds.
