The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) has announced an addition to its lane closure schedule for Browns Bridge over Lake Lanier.
GDOT construction partners will close a single lane on SR 369/Browns Bridge Road from 7 p.m. Monday until 6 a.m. Tuesday.
The lane closure will allow for construction of a concrete support structure for the new bridge.
This project represents .805 miles of construction to replace Browns Bridge, which carries traffic over the Chattahoochee River/Lake Lanier. This project was awarded to Scott Bridge Company, Inc. in October 2017 and has a April 2020 completion date.
