Monday, a well used railroad crossing in Winder will be closed for repairs and traffic may be snarled as a result.
Georgia Department of Transportation spokeswoman Katie Strickland said it is the crossing on State Route 11.
"This is going to close that roadway the carries traffic over the railroad tracks in Winder," Strickland said.
She said traffic will be detoured around the crossing using State Route 11, US 29 Business and East Midland Avenue.
Strickland said the repairs should take about five days.
