A single lane closure will go in to effect Friday morning on State Route 53.
The closure will take place between Dogwood Path and Little Hall Park to allow a temporary concrete barrier wall to be repositioned along the Boling Bridge replacement project limits, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation. The closure will last until 2 p.m.
The DOT said in a press release that the exact dates may change due to weather and other factors. Motorists are encouraged to reduce speed while traveling through the work zone, pay attention and watch for workers.
