Deputies went to Nix’s home on Mule Branch Road and arrested her.
Early the next morning, investigators executed a search warrant at Nix’s residence in an attempt to recover the firearm that was used in the incident, according to Kelley, adding they didn’t find the weapon but did find marijuana inside the residence.
Later, following up on some additional information, in another search of the home, the firearm was located.
