RABBITTOWN — The East Hall girls volleyball team improved to 20-3 on the season after sweeping a tri-match at home on Saturday.
The Lady Vikings whipped Oglethorpe County in straight sets 25-12, 25-16, held off Clarke Central in straight sets 25-17, 25-19, and finished the sweep with a straight sets win (25-18, 25-14) over Hart County.
Tessa Rider scored 11 points on serve with 2 aces, 31 kills, and 26 digs while Savannah Thellman added 24 points on serve with 10 aces, 3 kills, 5 digs and 50 assists for East Hall.
Ivey Shadburn scored 23 points on serve with 5 aces, 1 kill and 8 digs, Janelly Lara scored 6 points on serve with 2 aces, 13 kills, 1 assist and 15 digs, and Alysia Teague scored 7 points on serve with 2 aces and 21 digs for the Lady Vikings.
Nehemiah Jinks had 10 kills and 4 blocks, Lakeria Whelchel scored 10 points on serve with 3 aces, 7 kills and 1 block, and Yamilet Anariba added 2 points on serve with 1 ace and 1 dig.
The Lady Vikings next will travel to Blue Ridge to open up Area 7-3A play on Tuesday against host Fannin County and Dawson County.
