Sheriff: Missing Lumpkin man found in Minnesota

A man who went missing at the Rainbow Family Gathering over July 4th in Lumpkin County has been located in Minnesota, Lumpkin County Sheriff Stacy Jarrard said.

"Thank you for all the prayers. C.J. Elliott has been located in Minnesota. He is alive. We will post more details as they are known to us," Jarrard wrote in a Facebook post Saturday.

Elliott's family reported him missing when they lost contact with him. They said at the time that it was unusual for Elliott not to contact his parents.

The 20-year-old's condition was not immediately released, and it's unclear how he ended up in Minnesota.
