A single family home is a total loss after a fire on Hillcrest Drive Friday morning.
Both Hall County Fire and Gainesville Fire responded to the scene of the fire around 4:45 a.m. Friday.
Hall County Fire Captain Zach Brackett said in an email update that the cause of the fire hasn't been determined. Gainesville Fire Division Chief Keith Smith said in an email said no one reported injuries in the fire, but they don't know if anyone was home yet due to the involvement of the fire.
Smith said when crews arrived the home was fully involved in flames and the roof collapsed shortly after they arrived. The structure is a total loss and Brackett said they weren't sure of the value.
The residence is located in Hall County and Hall County Fire will handle the investigation.
