A North Hall family is displaced after a Friday afternoon fire.
Hall County Fire Services Capt. Zack Brackett said the fire started in the bedroom of a home on Pass Circle. Brackett said it could have been worse.
"One thing that did help with this fire is the bedroom door was shut," he said. "That helped keep the fire from spreading to the rest of the house."
Brackett said the family has relocated, for the time being, to another house nearby and refuse assistance from the Red Cross.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
