Both the East Hall and North Hall girls volleyball teams continued their solid play down the stretch of the season with a pair of dominating wins on Thursday.
The Lady Vikings whipped Oglethorpe County 25-5 and 25-13 and then defeated Rabun County 25-22 and 25-13.
Savannah Thellman scored 24 points on serve with 7 aces, 8 kills, 2 digs and 36 assists to lead East Hall. Tessa Rider scored 17 points on serve with 6 aces, 16 kills, 2 assists and 26 digs, and Janelly Lara added 11 points on serve with 2 aces, 8 kills, 5 assists and 38 digs for the Lady Vikings.
Ivey Shadburn scored 6 points on serve with 1 ace, 4 kills and 12 digs, Alysia Teague scored 2 points on serve with 15 digs, Nehemiah Jinks had 9 kills and 1 block, and Lakeria Whelchel scored 4 points on serve with 1 ace, 8 kills, 2 blocks and 1 dig.
NORTH HALL SWEEPS
North Hall finished its regular season with a pair of sweepsbeating Chestatee and Ceadr Shoals.
The Lady Trojans held off Chestatee 25-18 and 25-10 and then routed Cedar Shoals 25-7 and 25-14 in the nightcap.
Maxi Gillespie had 37 assists, 5 kills, 7 digs, and 1 ace to lead North Hall. Madison Brock had 13 kills, 1 block, 16 digs, 10 aces, Grace Hollifield had 10 kills and 2 blocks, and Dovie Williams had 7 kills, 1 ace, and 4 digs for the Lady Trojans.
Alexandria Bryant had 5 kills and 13 digs, Isabella Foster had 2 kills, and 23 digs, Zoe Finelli had 2 kills and 10 digs, and Ansley Smallwood had 2 kills. Mackenzie Crisp added 2 blocks, 1 kill, and 1 dig, Caitlyn Miller had 1 ace, and EmmaKate Ledford had 1 kill and 1 dig for North Hall.
Te Lady Trojans will play host to the Area 7-3A Tournament next Thursday.
