ATLANTA — The Buford girls volleyball team remained unbeaten Wednesday but it didn't come easy in a tri-match at Woodward Academy.
The Lady Wolves (8-0) took care of North Cobb 25-9, 25-14 in the opening match behind Halston Hillier, who led the team with 8 kills.
Against host Woodward Academy, however, the Lady Wolves had to come from behind. They dropped the first set 23-25 but took the second set 25-20 and then pulled out the match third a 25-20 win in the third set.
Tatum Shipes paced Buford with 15 kills, 12 digs, and 5 blocks while Julieanne Saliba added 10 digs. Senior setter, Stella Alverson had 32 assists for the Lady Wolves.
Buford next will play host to Walton on Thursday.
