The East Hall girls volleyball team finished sixth out of 24 teams in the Queens Tournament on Saturday.
East Hall ran its season record to 3-2 after the solid showing. The Lady Vikings beat Winder Barrow 25-19, 25-15, Madison County 25-20, 27-25 and Collins Hill 26-24, 25-23. They lost to Jackson County 26-24, 25-11 and Northgate 23-25, 25-17, 15-11 in the Silver Bracket Championship Game.
Savannah Thellman paced East Hall with 32 points scored on serve with 7 aces, 8 kills, 10 digs, 2 blocks and 59 assists. Holly Poole had 13 points scored on serve with 4 aces, 30 kills and 28 digs.
Summer Lindsey had 15 points scored on serve with 1 ace, 11 assists, 1 kill and 59 digs. Tessa Rider scored 21 points on serve with 4 aces, 5 assist, 18 digs and 26 kills, and Janelly Lara scored 25 points scored on serve with 5 aces, 4 assists, 3 kills and 17 digs for the Lady Vikings.
Niyah Rucker had 17 points scored on serve with 5 aces, 37 kills, 13 digs, 2 assists and 6 blocks, Sarah Salyers had 24 assists, and Macy Thomas had 21 kills and 5 blocks for East Hall.
The Lady Vikings next will play host to West Hall and Monroe Area on Tuesday.
