ATLANTA — North Hall held Pace Academy to five points or less in three of four quarters to take a 44-25 victory on the road Saturday in the first round of the Class AAA state tournament.
The Lady Trojans (19-10) did not start fast leading just 4-1 after the first quarter. They led just 17-15 at halftime.
But North Hall turned up the defense in the second half. The Lady Trojans outscored Pace 16-5 in the third quarter and 11-5 in the fourth quarter to blow the game open.
