The Region 7-AAAA All-Region boys and girls basketball teams were announced on Tuesday.
The West Hall girls, coming off an undefeated region schedule, earned five players on the team, including having junior Anna McKendree being named Player of the Year by the coaches. Macy Passmore was named first team for the Lady Spartans and Chestatee's Lindsey Caudell also was named first team.
The Lady Spartans' Bryan Richerson also was named Girls Coach of the Year.
The Chestatee girls, which finished as runners-up, had four players named to the team and White County had three.
For the boys, Kyle Swade of Blessed Trinity was named Player of the Year.
West Hall's Xzavier Reid, Chestatee's Donovan Hernandez, and John Ward of White County also were named first team boys.
