DAWSONVILLE — Union County outscored Dawson County 32-20 in the second half to rally for a 53-46 win in girls action in both teams Region 7-AAA and regular season finales Friday night.
The Lady Panthers led 15-13 after the first quarter but were held to just six points in the second quarter as Dawson County took a 26-21 lead into halftime.
Union County answered with a 16-6 third quarter for a 37-32 lead lead and then held on down the stretch.
Kaylee Sticker paced Dawson County with a game-high 24 points. Calli Watson had 11 for the Lady Tigers.
Both teams will be back in action on Tuesday in the Region 7-AAA Tournament.
