CHEROKEE, N.C. — The Dawson County boys finished third at the Chrokee Holiday Tournament Saturday taking down host Cherokee 83-67.
The Tigers had five players score in double-figures, led by Jeremiah Crumley with 23p points, 4 rebounds, and 5 assists and Ryan Gallenkamp, who had a doube-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Campbell Reed added 19 points and 4 assists, Cullen Reed had 16 points, 7 assists, and 6 rebounds and Kane Pelfrey chipped in with 11 points and 4 rebounds for Dawson County.

The Dragons finished out the Innisfree Hotel Basketball Beach Tournament in Pensacola with a 66-53 win over Ball HS out of Galvaston, Tex., Saturday afternoon.
Jefferson (9-6) got 26 points from Jasper Gibson 11 from Jacob Radaker in the victory. Both Gibson and Radaker were named to the All-Tournament team.
