A teacher at South Hart Elementary School has been arrested on a single count of child molestation, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI).
GBI spokeswoman Nelly Miles said Brandon David Cannon, 28, of Hart County was arrested Tuesday, Dec. 5, one day after a complainant made a report to the Hart County Sheriff’s Office
Hart County authorities requested assistance from the GBI following Cannon's arrest.
"The investigation suggests the incident leading to the arrest did not occur on school property and did not occur at a school sponsored event," Miles said in an press statement.
