Chestatee's Daniel suspended due to inquiry

GAINESVILLE — Chestatee head girls basketball coach Web Daniel has been suspended from his teaching and coaching duties due to an administrative inquiry into unspecified allegations.
 
Chestatee High Administration met with the members of the girls basketball team Friday afternoon to inform them of the situation.
 
According to Gordon Higgins, Director of Community Relations and Athletics, “Web Daniel, Head Girls Basketball Coach, will be away from the team for a time due to an administrative inquiry. During this time Chris Guthrie will lead the team along with Leigh Wilson and current coaches Robert Hernandez and Lauren Pounds. We will keep you informed as we have more information."
 
The Hall County School District will be cooperating with other authorities as necessary.
