*Three Gainesville city schools were recognized by the Georgia School Nutrition Association recently for outstanding participation in the National School Breakfast Program or National School Lunch Program. Centennial Arts Academy, Fair Street International Academy, and Gainesville Middle School were all awarded for their successful participation rates regarding their meal programs.
*BGW Dental Group announces Nohemi Guzman as the winner of its inaugural “Favorite Teacher Contest.” Guzman is a first grade teacher at Hall County Schools’ World Language Academy in Flowery Branch. The winner was chosen via online voting from a number of contestants from several northeast Georgia counties.
*Chestatee High School's WAR EAGLE PRODUCTIONS clenched the Regional 7-AAAA One Act Competition for "Over the River and Through the Woods."
