Winter weather continues to impact the Northeast Georgia area, with some local school systems announcing closures or altered schedules for Friday, January 17.

Schools:
Fannin County Schools -Virtual Learning Day; All extracurricular activites are canceled for Friday.
Gilmer County Schools - Virtual Learning Day; All staff are to report at regular time.
Rabun County Schools - Vvirtual Learning Day for Friday - All employees report to work at 10:00 A.M.
Towns County Schools - Virtual Learning Day from home for Friday, January 17.
Union County Schools - Two hour delay for opening with an optional day of attendance Friday; no bus routes will be running for the day.
