MONROE — The Lakeview Academy girls clinched a No. 1 seed in the upcoming Region 8-A tournament with a 60-46 win George Walton Academy Saturday.
The Lady Lions improved to 19-4 overall and a perfect 11-0 in region play.
Hanna Grogan poured in 30 points to lead Lakeview and went over the 2,000-point mark in the process. Jackie Allen added 11 points, including three 3-pointers.
Lakeview next will play host to Tallulah Falls on Wednesday.
