WALNUT GROVE — In a make-up game from two weeks ago, the Class AAAAA No. 1-ranked Buford girls steam rolled Walnut Grove 77-18 Wednesday night in Region 8-AAAAA action.
Audrey Weiner paced Buford with 20 points. Rachel Dobbs added 12 points, Marissa Bruce 11, and Tory Ozment nine for the Lady Wolves.
Buford improved to 19-1 overall and 9-0 in Region 8-AAAAA with the victory.
The Lady Wolves next will play host to Clarke Central on Friday. However, there is a change in the start time due to homecoming festivities. The girls varsity game will tip off at approximately 5:30 p.m. A JV boys game will follow and the varsity boys game will tip at 8:30 p.m. as scheduled. (NOTE: This is corrected from an earlier post erroneously stating the game was to be at Clarke Central.)
