BLAIRSVILLE — Dawson County outscored Union County in every quarter en route to a taking a 61-38 win Wednesday night in a Region 7-AAA girls contest.
The Lady Tigers (6-11, 3-2 Region 7-AAA) opened the game with an 18-7 run in the first quarter before pulling out to a 33-21 halftime lead. Dawson County led 46-32 heading into the fourth quarter and held the Lady Panthers (7-8, 1-4) to just six points in the final period.
Kaylee Sticker led Dawson County with 19 points, Abi Chatham added 14 and Anna Lowe and Calli Watson had seven points each for the Lady Tigers.
