BOGART — Steffanie Redmon scored on a passed ball in the top of the seventh inning that would eventually give the Lady Vikings a 5-4 win over North Oconee Saturday in Veterans Tournament at North Oconee High School.
Redmon scored after belting her second double of the game. She also recorded the win pitching the final five innings allowing four runs on four hits while striking out seven.
Macy Banks started the game and pitched two scoreless innings for the Lady Vikings.
East Hall (11-8) led 1-0 after the second inning and extended the lead to 3-0 in the third. The Lady Titans cut it to 3-1 in the fourth but East Hall pushed it back to 4-1 in the fifth. North Oconee tied the game with three runs in the sixth setting up the seventh inning finish.
The Lady Vikings then fell 4-1 to Lee County in the second game of the day. East Hall led 1-0 in the fourth but Lee County scored four in the sixth.
Macy Banks took the loss allowing four runs in 5 2/3 innings.
