BUFORD —Junior Logan Caymol tossed a complete-game two-hit shutout to lead Buford to a 5-0 win over Heritage, Conyers Friday in girls softball action in the Rumble at the Ridge Tournament.
Caymol (1-0) ganned nine and walked four and got early help from Kelsey Bennett, who capped a three-run first inning with a two-run home run. The Lady Wolves (3-0) added a pair of insurance runs in the third on an error and a RBI ground out by Hannah Jo Hyatt.
Hyatt also had one hit and junior Arielle Oda had a hit and scored twice for Buford.
The Lady Wolves took on both Newton and Lanier on Saturday as they continue play in the Rumble At The Ridge at Lanier High School.
