A Gainesville man was arrested Friday after being found in possession of items police say were stolen.
According to a release from the Hall County Sheriff's Office, 34-year-old Willie Jay Akers was found in possession of a television, tools, lawn equipment and a computer tablet that authorities say he "knew or should have known were stolen."
Akers was taken to the Hall County Jail. The sheriff's office is investigating the incident.
Akers faces one felony charge of theft by receiving.
