NHHS to unveil new $5.2 million performing arts center Thursday

An open house is planned Thursday for the public to get a look at the new performing arts center at North Hall High School.

Construction on the $5.2 million facility started in June 2015, and the facility includes a 363 seat auditorium, a drama classroom with instruction lab, a band room, a chorus room and a multi-purpose event lobby that connects the auditorium to the gym.

The event runs from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., according to a press release from Hall County Schools officials.

The event will also feature performances from the band, chorus and theatre groups.

5:00-5:20 -- Wauka Mountain Orchestra, North Hall Middle and North Hall High School Band.

5:30-5:50 -- Riverbend, North Hall Middle and North Hall High School Chorus

6:00-6:20 -- Mt. Vernon, North Hall Middle and North Hall High School theatre.
