A heat sensor caused the evacuation of North Hall High School Friday afternoon briefly.
Fire alarms went off around 12:15 p.m., according to an email statement from Hall County Schools spokesman Gordon Higgins.
Hall County Fire Services responded to the scene and located the heat sensor issue in the cafeteria kitchen. Students and staff re-entered the school around 12:40 p.m.
Higgins said no one was ever in any danger and that maintenance will address the issue.
