The Gainesville High School Reading Bowl Team finished second place at the recent North Regional Reading Bowl.
The team will compete in the Northern Divisional of Georgia Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl on February 27 at Pickens County Middle School in Jasper.
The team includes Julia Tang (Co-Captain), Christy Nguyen, Yasmin Rebollar (Co-Captain), Natasha Enriquez, Jennifer Mendez, Esmeralda Paez and Ruth Moreno and is under the guidance of GHS Media Specialist Susan Wooten.
This is the team’s second year of existence.
