The Gainesville City School System (GCSS) is experiencing a phone outage across the entire district.
"At this time I have no information that would indicate that this is a cyber incident of any kind," GCSS Chief Technology Officer Jill Hobson said. "We have two of our partner organizations working with us to try to isolate and identify what the problem is."
A post from the school system said they are unable to receive calls at this time and told parents and guardians to visit the school if communication is needed.
They went on to say that they are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible and will provide updates.
