The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is continuing to ask for the public's help identifying the man who robbed a Dillard bank earlier this month.
Late Tuesday the GBI released a sketch of the man sought by authorities in the robbery of the Rabun County Bank branch at 7408 Hwy. 441 near the North Carolina line about 12:50 p.m. Feb. 8.
An undisclosed amount of money was taken in the robbery.
The suspect is described as a black male with a light complexion and heavy build, 6-foot-2 to 6-foot-4, believed to be in his late 20s to early 30s, with visible tattoos on both hands.
The man left the scene in a late 1990s black Ford Explorer.
Anyone who can help the GBI, Dillard Police Department and Rabun County Sheriff's Office identify the suspect is asked to call the Rabun County Sheriff's Office at (706) 782-6226 or the GBI Tip Line at (800) 597-8477.
