The final two days of the regular season are here, and area teams will try to finish with titles or notch a better position for themselves for the upcoming region tournaments.
Most northeast Georgia teams conclude their regular season tonight while others finish on Saturday.
There are still some compelling races for top spots. The Gainesville and Flowery Branch girls are locked in a battle in Region 8-AAAAA for one of the subregion top seeds.
In Region 7-AAA, the Dawson County girls can clinch the region with a win over West Hall on Friday but a Lady Tigers loss and an East Hall win over Franklin County would once again force a tie and a coin flip for the top spot.
In Region 8-A, the Lakeview Academy girls can clinch the top spot with a win at Hebron Chrsitian tonight and a Commerce loss to Athens Christian on Saturday.
