MILTON— Gainesville got 17 points from Taylor Hawks in a 62-46 win over Milton Thursday on the road.
The Lady Red Elephants (6-2) led throughout taking a 13-7 lead after the first quarter and a 29-19 halftime lead. Gainesville pushed the lead to 44-32 heading into the fourth quarter.
Gainesville swept the season series with the Lady Eagles (1-5).
Tija Balckwell added 12 points for Gainesville, which is off until taking on Chestatee on Wednesday in the first round of the Lanierland Tournament at North Hall.
