Boys basketball: Dawson County rallies past Jefferson

JEFFERSON — The Dawson County boys went used an 18-8 fourth quarter to erase a third quarter deficit and rally for a 48-44 win over Jefferson Saturday night on the road.

The Tigers (6-5) led 24-23 at the half but fell behind 36-30 heading into the final period after the Dragons used a 13-6 run to take the lead.

Dawson County was led by Joseph Cronan, who had 18 points, five rebounds, and five assists. Campbell Reed added nine pointsand Jeremiah Crumley had eight points for the Tigers. Ryan Gallenkamp had seven points and 10 rebounds for Dawson.

Jefferson was led by Daniel Butler with 10 points. 

Dawson County next will play host to Habersham Central on Monday.

Jefferson will travel to North Hall on Tuesday.
