BRUNSWICK — The Gainesville girls volleyball advanced to the second round of the Class AAAAAA state tournament with a big road victory Friday night.
The Lady Red Elephants knocked off host Glynn Academy 3-1 (25-22, 25-22, 22-25, 25-19) in the first round.
Gainesville next will play host to Cambridge on Wednesday in Sweet 16.
